Interiors - Corbels

CorbelsCorbels used in building interiors can provide both a decorative and functional detail. Choose from ornate leaf patterned corbels, scroll effect corbels or plain corbels.

These can be used to display ornaments, figurines or shelves. In addition a corbel can add a touch of style when used to add curved lines below a structural beam.

Recommendations - when you choose an Orac corbel you will be getting a primed product, which can then be decorated to your tastes. You may want to consider our coving, dado, and panel mouldings to complete the effect. Please ensure you use Orac DecoFix Pro for the best results when installing.

B.402 Orac Decorative Corbel - 90mm wide x 220mm high x 70mm deep

A tall corbel featuring the classic acanthus leaf pattern, and scrolled side panels. Ideally suited as an internal decoration to the underside of a lintel, especially where an internal wall has been removed to create an extension. Each B402 is approximately 4 inches wide x 9 inches high and nearly 3 inches in projection.

A substantial "kneeler" featuring the classic acanthus leaf pattern, and scrolled side panels. This corbel is suitable as an internal decoration to the underside of a shelf or lintel. B.404 Orac Decorative Corbel - 195mm wide x 315mm high x 115mm deep

The B404 corbel has an acanthus leaf pattern, and the side panels feature a neat scroll relief. Used as a shelf bracket or lintel kneeler the product looks appropriate in older properties with high ceilings. The lightweight polyurethane moulding offer all the style of traditional heavy plaster items, but without the drawbacks.

B.408 Orac Decorative Corbel - 225mm wide x 400mm high x 130mm deep

The B408 corbel has an acanthus leaf pattern, and the side panels feature a neat scroll relief truncated by a scalloped base detailing. Used as a shelf bracket or lintel kneeler the product looks appropriate in older properties with high ceilings. B.409 Orac Decorative Corbel - 300mm wide x 350mm high x 175mm deep

The B409 is the largest corbel in our range. It is most effective as a "kneeler" under substantial RSJs and internal beams. The design features an ionic scroll effect and a central feature groove, an a small acanthus leaf edgework. The B.409 can also be use as a shelf in its own right, such as a telphone stand in a hall way. Externally the B.409 will allow a bold relief to larger classically styled apartments found in older city centres.

B.410 Orac Decorative Corbel - 195mm wide x 500mm high x 160mm deep

This elegant corbel has simple clean curves that create an impression of graceful strength. Used in hallways the B410 corbels create an almost arch like experience, but without the need for time consuming plastering. B.413 Orac Decorative Corbel - 160mm wide x 225mm high x 85mm deep

The B413 is our best selling corbel. Originally intended as a decorative feature for under beams we have found it particularly popular as classically styled dentil moulding where the product has the longest edge horizontally applied to a soffit.

B.414 Orac Decorative Corbel - 100mm wide x 220mm high x 70mm deep

The B414 is a beautifully sculpted mini-corbel. The primary use application is for above either side of an internal doorway, especially in restaurants and hotels. Three fluted grooves (Cat's Claw detail) swoop down from a shallow pyramid profile, which will not look out of place even when used within narrow hallways or smaller rooms. If you are looking to create an elegant shelf, and would rather not use unsightly brackets and conti-board why not use the B.417 corbel? The top of the mould is 36 inches x 5.5 inches and will create a stylish relief on any bland wall. Use the B417 to display photo frames or models.
