Panel Mouldings were traditionally made from wood, but are now available in a vast array of polymer shapes and styles. They offer an immense scope, when combined with interior cornices to create your chosen ambiance. Typically the bolder designs are most effective as dado rails and chair rails. Use them as a break between contrasting décor. Create striking effects with dark colours or wallpapers below the moulding and lighter tones above. Slimmer trims are particularly effective in creating panels on doors and walls. Get the best effects with neat mitres, or take the easy route and select preformed sweeping curves, or moulded 90° corners. Medallions enhance panel designs, or create attractive corner detailing. The Orac Flexi range allows even greater expression, for large sweeping curves, typically on ceilings, around bay windows or into arched alcoves. Sharp detailing is the outstanding characteristic of the Orac Decor range, whilst the Orac Axxent range features numerous classic designs, particularly useful where greater durability is required. Recommendations: Orac Decor Range - Always use Orac DecoFix PRO to achieve the highest standard of installation. Use Orac Fix EXTRA for perfect joints when cornices & panel joints are glued together. Do not paint over Orac approved adhesives for 24 hours for the best results. Select an appropriate MitreBox to achieve the best angled corners. Use Orac Decor for the sharpest detailing. Recommendations: Orac Axxent Range - Use Orac Axxent as a cost effective alternative to polystyrene for plain mouldings, where sharp details are less important. Use Orac DecoFix PRO adhesive for all installations and joints. Adhesives - the range of Orac adhesives and fillers can be found on the Adhesives page. Please be aware that installation of Orac products with non-Orac adhesives may invalidate the warranty.
